Hydrogen on demand fuel in Aztek
«

I am in the process of building a HHO kit that will produces Hydrogen on demand for the engine and cut my fuel bill way down. i am waiting on some parts i ordered to finish this project. Is there anyone elses that has done this? let me know what problems or other comments you have or questions of this project and i will try to reply to them. this will boost my fuel mileage a bunch and will make me one step closer from being free from terrorist oil sponsored oil companies.

I don't know of anyone else at this club that has done this, but several of us have been tossing the idea around of compressed natural gas conversion. I, for one, am very interested in watching your progress. How costly is the hydrogen conversion going to be? Can you keep us updated?

this is not a conversion, it is an addition to the gas, in other words it will be injected into the engine and a modified sensor will be installed to adjust the fuel from the gas tank to run leaner and fool the oxygen sensor. i have built most of the kit and am waiting on the mod. sensor. this will boost the mpg alot. i will track the mileage and make notes.

There is no free lunch. People will always claim they heard an uncle's friends brother in law got fantastic mileage from some scam or another.
Trust Popular Mechanics? Here's their take on it. This is the same as cow magnets, turbine devices, etc.

And a follow-up about it at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association show)

I hope you haven't got a lot of money into the project.

cow magnets
!?
I'm showing my age again!
Way back in the '80s cow magnets were said to aid fuel mileage. A cow magnet is a chrome plated 1/2" diameter by 2" or so magnet with round ends. They're meant for cows to swallow and carry in their stomach to catch metal that they might swallow, keeping it in the first stomach before it can travel farther and cause more serious damage. You taped them to the gas line to the carburetor. ( Duct tape I presume
) They are a pretty powerful magnet for their size, thus the myth of somehow helping atomization, etc. As with the latest schemes, there was no scientific basis for the claims, as they say
http://www.badscience.net/
I seem to remember something like the turbinator came along shortly after. I think magnets sometimes reappear occasionally now too.
The easiest way to debunk any of this is to just think a little. Wouldn't GM/Toyota, you name the car company give their firstborn to have a 4000 lb car getting 100MPG? Especially if it involved some "simple" solution like generating HHO.

if you could get that much of a boost in fuel economy the oil compines would go out of business... they have been known to not play by the rules.. i know people that have done similar stuff (not the HHO mods, completly diffrent tech) and when he tried to patent it the witness protection program steped in and told him to put it in under a diffrent name (there name for him) because if word got out that you could run this thing producing 30-300 hp at the shaft indefinite on 2 D cell battries he would be killed
