Hey everyone...
Has anyone else had any problems with the metal lines leaking that run from the tranny to/from the radiatior? ( I dont have the tranny cooler)
the dealer said they were rotted! and the repair is going to cost $500 to repalce both lines and repalce the fluid! I have 2001-seems it shouldnt be rotted after 8 years!!

Wow. I've not heard of that before. Does seem odd... maybe get a second opinion?

If they salt the roads in your area they could be rotted from the outside. I'd just cut the old tubing out and replace it with rubber hose, it isn't a high pressure line so you can just use hose clamps. Flare the ends just a little with a flaring tool. If your area doesn't salt the roads, call BS and exit the shop, these don't decay from the inside. $500 seems excessive and replacing the fluid isn't necessary either, just top it off.

Yup, just use transmission rubber hose and clamps (flaring the ends of the metal lines).
