You know like in newer pontiacs like the G6 and G8 how there's a shiny emblem in the middle of the steering wheel I was wondering it there was anyway to get one on a Tek steering wheel

you could always buy a hood emblem and epoxy that bad boy to the steering wheel.

I never thought of that it might just work since it would be larger than the one currently on the steering wheel, I thought of even replacing the steering wheel with one from a G6 or Vibe.

the one already on there can be torn off, its happening to mine. I was thinking about buying a racing steering wheel though so it's not a concern.

If the G6 and Vibe have the emblem that's cool... but I don't know if it would be that safe to add one to an Aztek. If it was not done in the same way as the G6/Vibe it could be dangerous if the air bag deploys... POW! Emblem in the nose - yee-ouch!

It's a great idea to add one, it would look so cool... maybe a junk yard G6/Vibe steering wheel dissection is in order evil

I never thought of the possibility of it being an addition to the ouch in a wreck I might just need to stop at a junkyard soon.

youll have to cut the tabs off and glue it on the steering wheel.  That is if the diameter will work.  As far as the airbag. the airbag is designed to split in certain areas as long as the emblem isnt across a split and its securely fastened to the airbag so it doenst pop off it should be fine.  The new rendezvous got a big huge chrome emblem in the center and it still same shape.
