2001 Pontiac Aztek (The Red Baron)

sometimes after I turn my car on (the engine, not the battery), a loud hissing sound will instantly follow, coming from the engine. Is this a cause for concern? An easy fix? Aside from this, the engine seems to be running perfectly normal.

I can hear it from inside my house if someone in my family turns it on, and if you mean defroster, than yes, it is.
