I read the article; it showed no love for the Tek, or testimonials from owners for a fair op-ed. The guy who wrote the article probobly drives some cookie cutter car that would be unidentifable if not for the manufacturer name on the trunk lid. I never heard anyone say "wow, is that a ciivicamryccord, can I look inside". To each thier own I guess.....

#10 is funny to me

Did you know the Prius actually has the largest carbon footprint of any gas powered, 4 door vehicle made since the 50's?

An unanticipated benefit of driving something odd / unique;

When I drive my Silverado with the big deer / brush guard, other people think twice about jumping out in front of me or cuting me off in traffic, and just the opposite when I drive the Miata.

But now that I have been driving the Tek for a few weeks, other motorists give me even more space. Pundits would speculate its from bewilderment, gawking or whipping up a quick "late night show" joke about the big yellow bee coming at them, but I say its from admiration and envy!!! Now if I attach a big stinger on the back, nobody would tailgate me.....
