Aztekcruiser,

The GM dealers will most likely install the hitch found through the GM Accessories group (same one found in the accessories section of GMPartsDirect).  If I remember right it is manufactured by Drawtite.  I know that some dealers will not install the hitch on their own, but will sublet it to another facility, so the brand may and model may vary.  If you ask, they should be able to tell you what they will install.

Keep in mind that you should match the hitch with what type of trailer you plan on towing (Class II or Class III).  Personally, I would go with the heaviest duty hitch I could find.  I have known people that have had great luck with the brands Drawtite and Hidden Hitch.  A second item you will want to make sure they deal with correctly is the wiring.  Don't let them talk you into wiring the lights into the taillamp.  You said that you have the trailer towing package and given that you should have the associated jumper harness that attaches directly to the factory harness (behind the driver's side wheel well).  Along with that you may want to select the proper mated connector pair (the connector that links the Teks wiring to your trailer).  It is best if you can stick with a more universal connector.  That way if you get a second trailer or borrow one from someone you stand a chance of hitching it up and plugging in the wiring and going.  You also need to consider what type of drawbar and hitch ball you will need.  Basically, to keep the Tek level and to have the right size hitch ball to match the tongue on the trailer.

What kind of brakes does your trailer use?  Surge brakes or electric brakes?  Surge brakes do not really impact the Tek (separate systems).  If you use an electric brake controller, you will want someone who is experienced with that type of installation in the Aztek handle it.

If you have any other questions, please post them.  I am sure I missed a few things as there is a lot to consider here, so other owners please feel free to help him out with your advice.

Well I don't have a trailer to tow just yet. I plan to buy a jet ski or 4 wheeler and so it would that type of trailer. I agree to go with the heavier duty type equipment. The picture at the dealer display shows a tubular type bar. The draw-tite bar is square, I think. I like the tubular bar.
