I was very offended by this weeks show. I love my tek as does everyone else here. It does not even belong on the list of worse cars ever I can think of many many more first...
Brat Subaru's attempt in a El Camino epic fail Baja see above part duex
Exp diesel Tempo lets take a slow car and make it slower all wheel drive Tempo really a 4x4 tempo

Sorry it wont let me edit the post. And the AFC images/links on the pages here are broken.
So I watched the full episode.. I must say those 2001 are not the most pleasant on the eyes..
However where did Rutledge find a safari bar mount kit?!?! Aww super jealous.
Also SPOILER: GUESS WHO WINS?! Definitely proves the aztek is cool. And as much as I dont really like the 2001, the mods Rutledge did make it pretty dang cool

I am annoyed that they talked about it rolling over. (only watched first 2 links so far) The Aztek was built on a mini van chassis intentionally to prevent rollovers. In fact, It was rated number 1 (if my memory serves me correctly) in suv/srv NOT rolling. Hmmph- they need to research a little

qt-3.14: My wife says the same thing about roll-overs. Its all because of an iron-on sticker on the passenger side sun visor that says "rollover danger". I think its more of a liability issue than a real issue myself, I mean, if you push it hard enough, you can roll ANYTHING right?

I agree, but the Aztek is safer than most. Also, to whomever said 2001 were the worst I beg to differ. I loved my black 2001 Tek- I miss her all the time

In fact, It was rated number 1 (if my memory serves me correctly) in suv/srv NOT rolling. Hmmph- they need to research a little The Aztek has excessive body roll while turning quickly on the street, let alone on a racetrack. try taking some turns in the "tek at 80 mph, it gets kinda sketchy...

http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2001/oct/10/pontiac_aztek_gets/Again, it was rated that by the NHTSA in 2001 as the best of all in its class. Not me, but the ones doing the rating. And try taking any non sports car around a corner at 80mph, they all get a little sketchy.
